Whoever disconnects from his source is doomed to suffer great loss. As a branch cuts off from the vine dries up and dies, so one who runs ahead of God dies. We often get intoxicated by the unrestricted freedom we have from God that we ignore the unrestrictable concequences of the actions that result from our freedom which are ever punishable by divine law that guides all creatures. This is not a question of whether one believes in God or not. Our self justifiable reasons and convictions of not execepting the existence of God ends within us in this world, they don’t cross the sky. God is still in charge of all His creation excluding nothing and no one. Everyone is being sustained by the inconditional love of God for all His creatures. He is interested about what you do and how you do it. Your work, profession and business. Each time we leave God behind in our lives and endeavours, it signifies total seperation from life and well being, we suffer the concequences, whether we realise it or not, it’s just the truth.
in Jeremiah 2:13 God says, “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”
Our understanding and common sense do not guarantee everything. We can only achieve to extent that our human capacity can take, what of the point when human strength is useless? Then we get trapped. The solution is to go with God from the beginning of the journey. He will direct us on how to dig cisterns that can hold water. He is the one who connects us to people we really need to achieve our goals. He makes us to go once and come back successful.
Commit your life and your ways to God and He will lead you aright.
Proverbs 16:3 says,”Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
like King David who never did anything without inquiring from God. 2 Samuel 2:1, 2 Samuel 5:22-25. And the Bible says that God granted him success in where ever he went.
I pray we obtain God’s favour as we earnestly seek Him everyday. In Jesus Name.
