#8 TIPS ON BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL SINGER OR AN INSTRUMENTALIST

“HAVE A MUSIC ROLE MODEL”

A ‘role model’ is no other than one whose behavior, example, lifestyle or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people.
Who is your ‘role model’ as a singer, musician or an instrumentalist? Your role model’s life is meant to motivate and influence you positively.
I repeat in capitals letters “POSITIVELY!” HE/she is your ‘distant motivator.’

When you set your heart on someone as a role model, they have an automatic way of influencing and changing your behavior to look at theirs. Reason is that you love them and want to be like them.
You see yourself talk like they do, you walk like they do, you sing like they do and possibly behave like they do. You are constantly pushed to play the music of your role model and learn them by heart. Why? Because you really want to become like them. They have considerable influence on you in regards to what you chase them for.
Sometimes people call you the names of your role model because you practically exhibit their qualities.

If you have a burning desire to become a professional singer or an instrumentalist, if you want to succeed in this career; make sure you choose a role model that is God-fearing, with positive mindset and attitude.
