delivering a biblically and Spirit’s inspired music and ministrations. Get the right foundational training for spiritual, professional and skillful delivery without losing the Biblical concept of spirituality and the attitude and character that enwraps the making of gospel music. An instrumentalist, a gospel singer, a praise and worship leader is occupying a spiritual and physical vital position in the church. They are next after the clergy. They need adequate training to equip them for good works. Therefore, church leaders and ministers should avoid this idea of shallow training sort of “learn it quick” syndrome, and from anyone available.
We should avoid without apology the mistake of hiring smokers and drunkards to train our choir/ band. They are Wrong hands?, Yes! Remember the saying,
“You can’t give what you don’t have”.
On issues as this, Apostle Paul warns,“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of the living God and the idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said, “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be there God, and they will be my people.2Corinthians 6:14-16
it is quiet simple!
•Avoid hiring a band of unbelievers, un-regenerated folks, smokers, and drug addicts to train born again Christians who have been prayed over and anointed to make godly music to the Most High God.
